The Rechna Doab, or Rachna Doab (in Pakistan), can be classified as one of the main regions of Punjab. Punjab historically has been divided into regions based on its various rivers, since the name Punjab is based on its 5 main rivers. The rechna may include the area between the Chenab and Ravi rivers, going all the way up to Mirpur and Jammu, that is the southern fringes of the Kashmir valley. It lies between 30° 35' and 32° 50' N. and 71° 50' and 75° 3'E., the name was formed by the Mughal emperor Akbar, by combining the first syllables of the names of the two rivers. Rechnavi is the main dialect of Punjabi widely spoken in Rechna Doaba 〔(Rechna Doāb - Imperial Gazetteer of India, v. 21, p. 277. )〕 == See also == *Doaba *Malwa(Punjab) * Jech Doaba 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Rechna Doab」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
